This policy explains how the DIV 3 Recruiting Operations tool (“we”, “the program”) collects and uses information, including for text messaging.

Information we collect

We collect contact information — name and mobile phone number — that recruits (Future Sailors) and staff provide in person during the recruiting and enlistment process. We also store operational recruiting data entered by staff.

How we use it

Phone numbers are used solely to send operational text messages related to recruiting — for example, mandatory DEP (Delayed Entry Program) meeting reminders and status follow-ups — and to receive replies. We do not use this information for advertising or marketing.

Sharing & mobile data

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share contact information with third parties for their own marketing. Mobile information is shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) strictly to deliver these messages on our behalf. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Opting out

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for recruiting operations. Requests to remove information can be made to the program contact below.
